Very attractive, early dollhouse lady doll… Lovely, 6 tall, antique bisque shoulderhead, dollhouse adult female doll for your dollhouse family. She has molded and painted blonde hair with incised comb marks with thick curls over her forehead and hair pulled nicely into a bun at the back, nice matching eyebrows and deeply molded features with pretty blue eyes, nice mouth and excellent blushed coloring. She has detailed bisque lower arms and finely detailed hands, black molded slippers with flat soles and original linen body with sawdust filling. She is incised on the back of her shoulders : 385 11/ and wears a lovely l inen-like chemise with long black taffeta skirt with fringe lace trim and cut velvet over-skirt and large black velvet hat with real feather and pink silk ribbon trim. She is in perfect condition with no repairs, no fading or stains, no holes, no wear and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. Very good quality doll, circa 1900, and a real treasure as these earlier dolls are quite difficult to find! Her handsome male companion is listed separately.
