Grace Puntnam Bye Lo Baby. I love Bye lo babies, this one is special. She’s in very good condition for being 99 years old. She’s approximately 11 inches long with a head circumference that is approximately the same. I have never seen one with such a complete clothes set that includes an undershirt that wraps around and pins in back, a slip that is very thin material, stocking and booties. The booties have pink ribbon in them, they show age of course. 2 dresses, one short trimmed in pink ribbon and one long and frilly. The long one has a small hole towards the bottom. She is wearing a reproduction bonnet that was specifically created for Bye lo babies. The ribbons that tie the bonnet are pined on. All of her clothes including the vintage blanket have been hand washed. The blanket seems like wool? The trim on the blanket was hand stitched on. She has a reproduction bye lo pin on her. Around her neck is a very old baby rattle. She smells good and her body is pretty clean for a doll of this vintage. Her head is free of cracks or chips. Her wax eyelids are in pretty good condition. Her eyes open and close as they should. Her eyes are brown and quite real looking. She is so sweet and the perfect size to be put in a cabinet.
