All photographs are part of the description. She measures 10 inches tall and is in very good antique condition with gentle rubbing on the hands, and some soiling. The clothing is sewn onto the doll, so I could not remove it for the pictures. The dolls head is porcelain and is signed on back W & C, the mark of German dollmaker, Wiefel & Co. Hugo Wiefel bought Erste Steinbacher Porzellanfabrik in 1912, the company ceased production in 1914 due to WWI, resumed production in 1918, and the company was renamed to become Gustav Huebach (G&H) in 1923. Company history also indicates that W & C stopped making bisque heads in 1914 and did not resume until 1923, under the H & G name. It is most likely that this doll was made sometime between 1912 and 1914. Please review the photos for a complete description.
