Head German doll & baby which is basically as shown in my photos. I know absolutely nothing about dolls so unsure who the maker is from the markings to the back of its head. Again I know nothing about dolls, so if you can tell me more then I would be happy to hear from you, I do know though that it looks very old. Doll has metal hoop earrings and dress as shown. The eyes also shut when the doll lies down and open again when sitting upright. She is a jointed doll as photographed and marked on the back of her socket head. Some stuffing / paper (or similar) seems to be coming out at the top of one of her legs from inside her body. Doll has some wear and light marks / scuffs to the paint from age / use. Some scuffing to the neck part where the neck meets, also some chipping to toes on the right foot. Clothes have some frayed threads. Back of the large dolls head has what looks like two crossed feathers or similar, N38 Germany and what looks to be C/c. The baby dolls head is also marked with numbers 433 and what looks to be 2310 – please see photos. Large doll measures approx. 10″ in total height, while the smaller baby is 4″.
