This is a beautiful, tiny Simon & Halbig character doll in the hard-to-find mold #1279, Size 1. She’s just adorable, with long, curly auburn-brown hair that matches her feathered brows. She has blue sleep eyes with lashes. Her right eyelashes are less full. The sailor-blue outfit with soutache is old, including tiny socks and shoes, but probably not original to her. This girl is in wonderful original condition, and her fully-jointed wooden body is minty. It has 6 free-floating ball joints: at the knees, elbows, and shoulders. The hips and wrists are also jointed. She is a wonderful estate find — so sweet and very much sought after for her rare 1279 number and tiny size. You will adore this sweet little cupcake! NOTE: Photo props not included: FRAMED PICTURE, LACE COVER. Beautiful antique condition — from a non-smoking environment. No issues found with the bisque after careful examination. Wonderful original condition: her wooden body is minty, with all-original finish and no missing parts or fingers, just a tiny amount of lost composition at neck.
