Antique German Kestner Bisque Head Doll. JDK German Kestner Character Chil Doll. She has a porcelain/bisque head and a cork stuffed, jointed composition body. Her forearms and hands are porcelain/bisque. She has glass brown sleeper eyes and brown hair. Her shoulder joints are made of metal. The shoulder joints are very delicate and there is some slight saw dust leakage from them if her arms are moved or manipulated much. I do not know whether her dress or socks are original. She has been stored indoors inside of a glass case, in a smoke free and pet free home, since about 1950. I do not know her history prior to that. I inherited her from my grandmother but do not have any interest in antiques or dolls, so I would love for her to end up somewhere where she will be valued and cherished, as she was by my grandmother.
