Antique German-made bisque/compo boy doll baby. Dating from the early 1900’s time period and the exact maker is unknown. Beautiful facial features with rosy cheeks and handpainted blue eyes. Two upper teeth are painted inside of the open mouth. The back of the bisque doll head is clearly marked’8-0′ as pictured. The baby’s head shows’strands of hair’ on an almost otherwise bald head. The doll measures 10 in length when fully extended. Has jointed arms and legs as shown. Dressed in a knitted bottom and with matching booties. Has a composition body with all fingers and toes intact. No breaks or losses found. The composition body shows some light wear from general age/play. The previous owner (92 years old) claims to have gotten this doll handed down to her from her grandmother back in the late 1920’s. She was always told this doll came from Germany.
