Has been lying in my old baby carriage all this time. It is well marked. I had not undressed the doll until lately so I was pleased to see the many markings on her. Has two purple oval stickers on the chest. One says “Floradora” and one says “Cork Filled”. Is a German Charles M. Bergmann doll, head made by Armand Marseille, A. Shoulder head, Kid body, Bisque head and lower arms/hands. Where the upper arms join the shoulder is loose, on the left side the leather has a tear and has lost some of the cork from the tear. Lots of wavy hair, brows heavy, real lashes with painted lower lashes. Open mouth, 4 teeth, blue eyes. Clothes are what she came in, I have washed and pressed them and found that they, especially the hem area of the dress, at the left bottom is frayed/torn, as is some of the under slip, same area. Also wearing a one piece body underall, a half slip with button closure at the waist, the full slip under the dress has a button closure at each side of the shoulders. Dress is very fragile. The style is of the fashion of the era, possibly her original, it would make a good pattern for a replacement dress. Has long white cotton stockings (back seam is frayed), white leather shoes with a buckle adornment. She is very well made and heavy. Contact me with any questions.
