Most attractive, early dollhouse gentleman… Charming, 6 1/2 tall, antique bisque shoulderhead, dollhouse male figure for your dollhouse family. He has molded and painted black hair with incised comb marks, center parted with part continuing at the back and nice matching eyebrows and dashing black mustache, deeply molded features with dark brown eyes, nice mouth and excellent blushed coloring. He has detailed bisque lower arms and finely detailed hands, brown molded boots with tan soles and a original linen body with sawdust filling. He is incised on the back of the shoulder : 649 and wears a his original 3-piece, black & white wool tweed suit with coat tails, linen shirt and tie and black buttons and is in mint perfect condition with no repairs, no fading or stains, no holes, no wear and no odors as he is from a smoke free home. Very good quality little doll, circa 1900, and a real treasure as these earlier dolls are quite difficult to find!
