Antique German Kestner Bisque Head Child Character Doll From the “King of the Dollmakers” J. Kestner Marked on back of head. K1/2 Germany 14 1/2. BISQUE HEAD: Beautiful bisque head, beautifully painted features, open mouth with 4 milk glass teeth, big blue eyes BODY: 25 Tall Original Ball Jointed Composition Body in very nice condition. Her shoulders, elbows and wrists are all jointed and her hips and knees are jointed. She sits nicely and will stand with a doll stand. On her backside at her waist, she is stamped in red ink, “made in Germany”. Pate and blonde wig are likely not original. Her beautiful blue eyes have some fixative holding them in place that could be removed. CLOTHING: She comes with the two vintage white cotton and lace trimmed and. Owns, socks and black three button shoes, as shown in photos. Please look at close-up photos to see her lovely condition.
