Presented for your consideration is this large antique doll made by Schoenau & Hoffmeister. The German doll has a bisque socket head with a jointed composition body. The doll has very detailed facial features which include large bright blue sleep eyes, parted lips that show 4 front teeth, and rosy cheeks. The head is finished with a dark brown short hair wig. Sleep eyes easily open and close. The body is jointed at the knees, wrists and elbows. The head will turn as well. The back of the head is marked with “PB” inside of a star with a S to the left and H to the left. Underneath the hallmark is marked with 914 13. All of the strings are tight and the joints move with ease. The doll wears a white pantaloons, white slip, white socks, white faux leather shoes and a light blue satin dress with lace trim and a matching bonnet. This gorgeous doll is guaranteed to be antique and would make a great addition to any antique or vintage doll collection! Some light age wear is on the body. Body is free of cracks and splits and the head is free of chips and cracks. Minimal wear to the clothing. Overall in EXCELLENT condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
