BEAUTIFUL GERMAN BISQUE-HEAD DOLL KESTNER 167 – 18 inches – c. This is a beautiful doll. She is almost perfect in every respect. Her bisque head was made by Kestner and is marked D & 1/2 – Made in Germany – 8 & 1/2 with the mould number 167. Her bisque head is finely painted and is free from damage or hairlines. She has well moulded and painted eyebrows over dark grey sleep eyes which function perfectly. Her only issue is that she las lost her eyelid wax. She has an open mouth showing four small teeth and a tongue. Her ears are not pierced and the lobes are in perfect condition. Her Handwerk body is in almost pristine condition. The Handwerck stamp is clearly visible on her right hip. I will add more. Information & pictures tomorrow………………..
