ANTIQUE REVALO COQUETTE TYPE GERMAN BISQUE DOLL HEAD WITH MOLDED HEAD BAND AND FLOWERS. This sweet little doll is not commonly seen. She is an antique Revalo Coquette type doll with molded blonde hair and a blue head band with red-accented yellow flowers. She is a nice cabinet size measuring approximately 10 1/2 tall. The head has no chips, cracks or hairlines. There are a few kiln specks. Back of the head is faintly marked Revalo 2 Dep. The doll has an unusual crude 5-piece antique French body with a rather long torso made from a solid piece of wood. The arms and legs are composition. The shoes have been repainted but the rest of her legs as well as her arms have their original paint. The French costume is original to the body. Black wool dress with shawl and floral print apron. Pink ribbon waist tie is fragile otherwise clothing is good condition. Sewing is somewhat crude and not all seams are finished. Still the doll displays quite nicely. Head and arms are tightly strung. Legs are well attached although they are a bit loose as they have their original elastic. Sweet little doll for your collection! Please see photos for details.
