For sale is a 22 Antique German Bisque Shoulder Head Kestner Doll Leather Kid Body Open Mouth in Used condition. The left leg is loose and does shed the inside packing material when moving the doll around. The left shoe is missing the decorative bow. Doll stand is a little dusty/dirty from storage. Please see pictures for more detail. Things to note about this doll: – This bebe doll is marked with a G. And a stamp mark to the right that is unreadable. Inside wig label has #11 printed and some letters. Backs of her legs have 951 and 936 painted on them. She has a kid leather body that is jointed at the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Her dress is beautiful, her hat is a little dusty and her pantaloons are loose at the waist. Comes with a white stand. She has a shoulder head design – head is just slightly turned – not as pronounced as other Kestner dolls. Her head and shoulder looks to be hand made – not from a mold. She has real teeth – carved out to look real. Unsure whether she has a tongue. Her clothes do smell like smoke. Her hair feels real and is brittle and does break off if you move it around too much. The left knee joint is loose and does leak some of the inside packing material if excessively moving her around. We believe this is a Kestner doll, very early.
