Gorgeous Antique 15 German Simon Halbig Kammer Reinhardt Doll. Head is free of cracks, hairlines, or repairs. Her brown eyes sleep well and have original waxed lids. There is a small area of color loss on the left cheek and can be seen when magnifying pictures. Noteworthy is the stylized W on her upper forehead. Earrings appear to be original and no chipping at the ear holes. This stunning doll wears an early homespun pale pink cotton dress with a vintage apron, early full cotton slip and petticoat/bloomers. She sports non-matching oilcloth shoes over vintage stockings. The vintage bonnet is simple and matches the apron. Cute full brown mohair wig fits her well and maintains a few original waves. Her original finish, jointed composition body is very clean and recently restrung. Note that she still has the red lines between her toes. There is a shoulder joint that has come lose and alas, she is missing the end of her left index finger. This cabinet size beauty has no odors and comes from my smoke free home.
