Bisque Head Marked “N “. Beautiful brown haired 27 Kestner doll with bisque side glancing head and jointed leather body. Her head was molded in the side glancing position and is not movable. Her brown eyes are currently in a fixed position and we are assuming that is the way she was made. She also has an open mouth with teeth. Doll is in very nice condition for its age. Head is very nice with no chips or cracks. She does not have pierced ears. Leather body is decent. There are marks, however. Her side glancing head is molded as such, Open mouth with teeth, brown hair and brown glass eyes. All with no damage to report. Her right eye may need to be adjusted from within. She has a glued cap in place on which her lovely brown wig sets. Joints remain nice as well, Joints are pinned. Her bisque forearms are very nice with no missing fingers. She is wearing the dress and undergarments in which we found her in. Cotton undergarments and a faded light blue linen dress with a satin pink ribbon. Socks appear to be of period but shoes are clearly not. Please view all of the photos to affirm all of the above and to further appreciate just how lovely this doll is; especially given her age.
