Sweet Antique German Bisque Armand Marseille 390n A6M Socket Head Sleep Eyes 22. Armand Marseille of Sonneberg & Koopelsdorf, Thuringia, Germany was one of the worlds largest and best known bisque doll head manufacturers. He was born in 1856 in St. Petersburg Russia the son of an architect and immigrated to Germany with his family a short while after 1860. From 1919 30 he produced 1000 bisque doll heads a day. They made bisque headed child, baby, lady and character dolls with kid bodies and most with glass eyes but some more painted eyes, as well as best and composition dolls. This doll appears to be in her original dress with her original wig. Please see all photos including the ones on her hands where she has lost some paint.
