She reminds me of a school girl. Shes ready to skip into your heart and, hopefully, a new home. She has an all composition, jointed German body. Body is in its good condition with normal wear and tear. The body is marked: Heinrich Handwerck, Germany. The body shows the usual wear from age and all fingers and toes are present. There is a small chip on the end of the right thumb. She is tightly strung and ready to display. There is some repair at the neck socket and one leg and one hand have been replaced. The legs have had a repaint at some point in time. She has finely detailed facial paint, blue glass sleep eyes, pierced ears, open mouth with 4 teeth and a replaced mohair wig. The face is beautifully painted with the feathered eyebrows; upper/lower lashes and delicately blushed cheeks. The eye corners and nostril have the painted accent dots. The pate is old, but I don’t know if it’s original. No damage or repairs to her bisque head. She is dressed in an antique school-girl style, blue gingham dress w/white cotton pinafore that is adorned with a bertha collar; cotton half-slip; pantalets; stockings and black button-up boots. There are antique/vintage flower drop earrings and a tiny pin at her neckline. Clothes are in excellent condition. No major rips, holes or broken seams. Doll is marked S & H DEP 1009. So please examine the photos to be sure the item is what you want. If I miss something, its unintentional. I will do the same for you in return. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
