18 ANTIQUE GEBRUDER HEUBACH #6969 Bisque SAILOR BOY – ORIG OUTFIT. This rare Heubach is out of my collection, and I’ve had him for a LONG time. He is in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, and he even has his original outfit (see pics). He has the original body finish, working sleep eyes, and fabulous shoes marked “depose”; so they probably weren’t his originally, as “depose” means “patened” in French. But they were extremely tight, and I was unable to safely remove them. He has a nice mohair wig, and he lists in the 2006 Foulke Guide to dolls for apprx. I’m starting him for much less then that with no reserve – I want to be sure he has a forever good home. Don’t miss out on this one.
