This listing is for a beautiful antique parian bisque shoulder head doll who has had past restoration to her shoulder head. I do not see any line cracks on her shoulder head but I do see paint “loss” in places and a few light lines in the re-paint which tells me she must have had restorations and then re-paint on her bisque below the neck areas, see close up photos. Reference shows similar dolls made by AGB, Alt Beck & Gottschalck, 1880+ Germany. Shoulder head measures about 5-1/4 tall. She has a beautiful rounded face with brush stroked molded painted blonde hair, there is a blue painted molded hair bow on a band that goes under her curls and is visible at the back of her head. She has painted blue eyes with a white accent dot to the side of each pupil, black liner over the eye lids with coral liner over the black liner, she has brown eye brows, closed mouth with darker accent line through the lips, rose color blush accents her white bisque face. She is “missing” one earring. Her body is antique with worn leather arms that have fingers intact and leather boots on her feet. She wears two piece Turn of the Century peach and lavender dress with hooks down the front of the top and also at the waistband of her skirt, some overall wear and a few wrinkles but nothing terrible, it is a charming outfit. She wears slip and pantaloons that are in nice vintage condition, there is a bustle at the back of her dress. With or without further restore this 1880s doll would be a “Treasure” for collection or display! Doll stand is not included. Thank you for looking in.
