For sale is this adorable antique Armand Marseille “Baby Betty” Bisque Head Doll with the cutest chubby cheeks and blue paper weight eyes. The doll is marked. A clear Baby Betty sticker is affixed on her body. Her head and hands are made of bisque. She has an open mouth with four tiny white teeth that are visible through her smile. Her jointed body is of kit leather, except for her lower legs and feet that are made of canvas, which are stuffed with saw dust. Her blue paperweight eyes are fixed with hand painted lower eyelashes and expressive brows. She has an old dark blonde human hair wig on. She is wearing a historically appropriate replacement cotton gown with undershirt and underpants. Her dress is made of old fabric. Her condition is “used” and reflective of her age. No cracks have been observed on her head. Her left shoulder has been reattached to the torso. It appears as though the feet have been restiched. There is no pate on her head and the wig is a bit matted. I have taken pains to give as much detail as possible in the description and in the photos.
