This is a beautiful all factory original antique Tete Jumeau / SFBJ #301 bisque head child doll in almost unplayed-with condition. Darling bisque head with very sweet expression, open mouth with red lips, four upper molded teeth, brown glass sleeping eyes, delicately painted lower eyelashes, brown molded and painted multi-strokes eyebrows, accented nostrils, pierced ears and softly painted cheeks. Original long blonde human hair ringlet wig in original set with original cardboard pate. Back of head incised. SFBJ // 301 //. She is on her original French Bébé Jumeau papier-mâché and wood full jointed body. Back of body is marked with an oval shaped paper label that reads. She is dressed in her original pale pink satin and lace dress with applied ornaments, fringe and lined buttons, white cotton lace trimmed underskirt slip and pantaloons, white socks, white leather shoes with overcast stitching at edges and white silk ribbon, unmarked brown leather soles and faux-pearl earrings. Not noticeable slight nose rub, small factory firing flaw to the head rim see picture #10. Eyes rocker works well but needs a little adjustment, real lashes completely gone. Clean original finish body with typical worn paint to joints, hands and some paint lifting over ankles see picture #12. She needs to be restrung. None of mentioned flaws detract from the beauty of this rare doll. Otherwise, excellent overall condition.
